Happy Hours Bar has held the candle for the biggest and best Apres events in the Portes Du Soleil Ski Area for the last 5 years. Located at the foot of the infamous 'Star Wars' home run in Avoriaz and endeavouring to 'one-up' themselves on every party they throw; they are without doubt the most well-known bar in the in the valley. 2018's closing party was set to be huge, but the mission was far greater than just putting on a good show. They wanted to usher in a new image which would attract the young professionals of super-cities. The media coverage of the event had to be like nothing they'd ever released before. Through Photo and Video we needed to show the world what they were missing.
Together with Happy Hours Bar we decided to create a festival-style after-movie. This required a type of shooting and editing that they had never used and through this we found a unique concept. Following extended conversations with the staff and DJs our team was briefed on the full choreography of the event. This meant that we were guaranteed to capture every memorable moment and nothing was missed.
We then established a strong and sustainable social strategy in order to create virality within the Morzine community and beyond. This included a series of teasers previous to the release of the photos and after-movie to build anticipation and engagement. We also monitored the demographic and audience engagement statistics of their Facebook Page to ensure the posts had the best reach possible. Thanks to our knowledge of the Morzine community we were able to tag individuals in the photos in addition to including personalised messages and relevant hashtags.
The Aftermovie has become the most shared and viewed video that Happy Hours Bar has ever released. The photo album we produced has had more tags, mentions, comments, likes and shares than any other album.
